Job Title: Purchasing Assistant

Location: Main Office – Congressional Extension, Quezon City

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

The Purchasing Assistant is responsible for supporting the Procurement and Supply Chain Operations of the company.
  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Assist in checking the Bill of Quantity (BOQ).
  • Prepare and process purchase orders/materials requisitions, and other procurement documents.
  • Monitor inventory and coordinate with the warehouse or purchasing heads to identify purchasing needs.
  • Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and potential delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
  • Assist in negotiating terms, prices, and delivery with vendors under the guidance of the Purchasing Officer/Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department such as filing, data entry, and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (licensed is additional advantage).
  • Has experience in purchasing and procurement.
  • Must reside near at Office Location.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping abilities
