About the role

Joeun Partners International, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our team in Pasig City Metro Manila on a Contract (Project-Based) basis. As Construction Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the successful delivery of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all daily field operations for the 4,245 square meter mid-rise structural steel and ALC panel hotel expansion to ensure milestones are met in accordance with the master project timeline.
2. Manage site boundaries and shared logistics under operational constraints (the existing hotel will remain open). Ensure the seamless deployment and contractual compliance of vertical transport (hoists/elevators) utilized by both JPI teams and external finishing contractors.
3. Maintain an unyielding boundary between JPI’s core civil/structural/architectural shell scope and excluded interior design/decoration works. Identify, log, and immediately report any out-of-scope directives to the Contract Manager to protect JPI against undocumented variations.
4. Direct and review structural steel erection, alignment/bolt tightening, metal decking, concrete pouring for composite slabs, and full-envelope ALC wall panel configurations.
5. Supervise the procurement, delivery, storage, and installation of doors, windows, waterproofing layers (toilet and kitchen), and multi-coat interior/exterior painting systems according to specified manufacturer and contract criteria.
6. Act as JPI’s primary field representative in technical meetings with SINOMA CBMIPH Construction Corporation, ensuring daily site diaries, contemporary records, and delay events are rigorously documented in writing.
7. Coordinate closely with design teams to facilitate the processing of Occupancy Permits and ensure the continuous, accurate generation of signed as-built drawings across all engineering trades.

Qualifications & Requirements:

1. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
2. Minimum of six to eight (6-8) years of progressive site management experience in commercial building construction, with a proven track record of successfully delivering mid-rise (10–15 storey) hospitality or commercial structural projects.
3. Knowledge in structural steel framing projects, composite metal decking, and advanced dry-walling/ALC (Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete) panel layout and installation will be an added advantage.
4. Robust experience managing architectural finishes, including commercial-grade window/door framing, structural waterproofing arrays, and multi-surface paint applications, Façade, Wall finishes, etc.
5. Demonstrated capability to read and interpret complex subcontract conditions, detailed bills of quantities (BOQ), and interface matrices. Must understand the operational difference between core shell delivery and interior fit-out scopes.
6. Assertive, highly organized communicator who manages site personnel and sub-tier suppliers with absolute accountability. A "YES person" will not succeed in this environment.
7. Must be willing to work on-site at the Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, and maintain full compliance with local DOLE safety standards and building codes.
