Job Overview

Our client is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to manage the social media presence of a multi-location restaurant group. You will develop engaging content, execute content strategies, and build an active online community while collaborating closely with the restaurant team to showcase their brand and attract new customers.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM Central Time (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow social media accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Create engaging content using images, videos, and other marketing assets provided by the client.
  • Develop original content ideas and social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content using a structured content calendar.
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and foster an active online community.
  • Track social media performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to highlight promotions, events, and new menu offerings.
  • Stay current with social media trends and best practices within the food and hospitality industry.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing business social media accounts.
  • Previous experience creating engaging social media content.
  • Restaurant or hospitality industry experience is required.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns (APPLICATIONS WITH PORTFOLIOS WILL BE PRIORITIZED)
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate original content ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Central Time (20 hours per week).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing social media for multi-location businesses.
  • Experience growing social media accounts organically.
  • Previous experience supporting U.S.-based clients remotely.
