Warehouse helper

Job Description

• Operating forklifts or other material-handling equipment to move materials within warehouses or from warehouse to staging areas for shipping.
• Following strict safety procedures to ensure the safety of coworkers and prevent accidents.
• Performing basic data entry tasks such as scanning bar codes on boxes or other inventory items using a computer system
• Loading and unloading trucks or shipping containers with items that need to be shipped to another location
• Loading, unloading, and moving materials, equipment, and supplies in a warehouse environment.
• Operating warehouse equipment to store or retrieve products or materials such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or shelving units.
• Ensuring that all warehouse orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner.
• Stocking shelves with new inventory items or removing old inventory items as needed.
• Maintaining an accurate record of inventory by scanning bar codes on products or recording item details manually.
• Organizing and storing materials in warehouses to keep them safe and easily accessible.

• Must be customer-oriented, motivated, and hardworking.
• Willing to work under agency.
