Job Description

The Warehouse Helper supports day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. The role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently, safely, and cleanly.

Key Responsibilities: Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks.

Move, stack, and organize goods in the warehouse manually or using pallet jacks.

Pack, label, and sort items accurately according to instructions.

Assist in order picking and preparing items for dispatch.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and storage areas.

Follow safety and security procedures at all times.

Assist in counting inventory and stock-taking as needed.

Dispose of packaging materials and waste in a safe and orderly manner.

Support other warehouse team members and perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not mandatory).

Experience: Prior experience in warehouse or logistics operations is a plus.

Freshers may be considered if physically fit and reliable.

Skills & Competencies: Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and safety standards.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Physical stamina for lifting, standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

Good attention to detail and time management.

Teamwork and communication skills.

Basic counting and reading skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry items up to [20–50 kg / 40–100 lbs] depending on company standards.

Ability to operate pallet jacks or manual handling equipment (training can be provided).
