Operations Manager
About the role
We are seeking an Operations Manager to join The Italian Food Specialists, Inc. in Mandaue City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic leadership opportunity within our manufacturing or food production and logistics operations.As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across all operational functions. This role is critical to achieving our company's objectives and maintaining our reputation as a leading Italian food specialist.
Key responsibilities- Oversee daily operations across manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics functions to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery
- Develop and implement operational strategies and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage inventory levels, supply chain coordination, and vendor relationships to optimize procurement
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices
- Lead, supervise, and motivate operational teams, providing training and performance management
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
- Liaise with other departments including sales, marketing, and customer service to ensure operational alignment
- Identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions to maintain productivity
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in operations management within manufacturing, logistics, or food production industries
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and cross-functional teams
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement practices
- Familiarity with food safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in ERP systems and operational management software
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
