Technical Consultant Application Security
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant Application Security with strong expertise in .NET backend development, AWS cloud, and secure application design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and securing cloud-native applications while ensuring compliance with application security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain secure backend applications using C# .NET / .NET Core
Implement secure coding practices to prevent vulnerabilities and ensure application security
Design and deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring cloud security best practices
Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities in applications
Apply OWASP Top 10, MITRE CWE, and threat modeling methodologies such as STRIDE
Support DevSecOps processes, including secure CI/CD pipeline integration
Perform application security assessments, code reviews, and vulnerability remediation
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure secure application delivery
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
Strong hands-on experience in C# .NET / .NET Core backend development
Experience designing and implementing secure applications
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architecture
Good understanding of application security concepts (OWASP Top 10, MITRE CWE)
Experience with Threat Modeling (STRIDE) and vulnerability management
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with application security testing tools
Experience with open-source security tools and vulnerability scanning
