Maintenance Planner

JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for organizing and coordinating maintenance activities for plant engineering. This includes preparing labor, materials, and scheduling for corrective, preventive maintenance, and other related services to ensure efficient operation of production machinery and utilities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance Planning:

• Plan and oversee the execution of corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance, total productive maintenance (TPM), and various construction-related tasks (masonry, plumbing, carpentry).
• Schedule and prepare necessary manpower, spare parts, and materials in advance for all maintenance works.

Coordination and Documentation:

• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth execution of maintenance activities.
• Maintain and manage engineering documents, including drawings, blueprints, and layout plans.

Estimation and Cost Analysis:

• Prepare cost estimates for building and grounds projects to support comparative bid analysis.
• Develop and maintain in-house estimates and specifications for machine shop fabrications.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to workplace safety initiatives.

General Support:

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, supporting the plant’s 5P program.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the EFS Team Leader and Plant Engineering Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications; basic knowledge in Computer-Aided Design (CAD).
• Skilled in planning and preparing materials and labor for maintenance tasks.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical works; understands mechanical and electrical plans; experienced in machining/fabrication.
• Works well under pressure and can put in extra effort to accomplish goals if needed.
• Can express himself/herself clearly in both verbal and written forms.
• Highly organized and able to properly manage his/her time.
• Dynamic and can adapt easily to changing work requirements.
