Learning and Development Officer – Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Learning and Development Officer – Sales to design, implement, and manage training programs that support the growth and performance of our sales team. This role is responsible for identifying skills gaps, developing training content, delivering engaging sessions, and evaluating training effectiveness to ensure sales targets and business goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head of Sales, L&D Team and Management to assess training needs based on performance metrics, business goals, and individual development plans.
• Design, develop, and execute effective sales training programs for new hires and tenured sales employees (e.g., onboarding, sales skills, product knowledge, communication, and customer handling).
• Facilitate both in-person workshops, and coaching engagements.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives using KPIs, feedback tools, and performance assessments.
• Maintain and update training materials to reflect product changes, market developments, and internal processes.
• Provide regular reports on training outcomes, improvement plans, and recommendations to leadership.
• Partner with Team Leaders and Managers to support continuous learning through coaching, mentoring, and development programs.
• Drive learning culture and engagement through innovative training approaches, gamification, and digital learning tools.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales training and adult learning methodologies.
