Business Development Manager

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to spearhead our B2B client acquisition and expand our electric vehicle (EV) charging network. In this role, you will be the driving force behind securing partnerships with commercial property owners, leading complex negotiations, and bridging the gap between our technical teams and C-level stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a proactive closer with a strong understanding of commercial real estate, corporate enterprise sales, and green energy trends.

Primary Responsibilities

Pipeline Generation & B2B Client Acquisition
  • Identify and continuously build a robust pipeline of qualified property portfolios, targeting commercial retail centers, premium residential condominiums, corporate office towers, hotels, and industrial logistics parks.
  • Initiate targeted outreach and independently navigate complex corporate environments to pitch directly to C-level executives, Asset Managers, Boards of Directors, and Property Management Heads.
  • Represent the company at real estate, property management, and green energy forums or exhibitions to capture and convert high-value enterprise leads.
Commercial Structuring & Deal Execution
  • Develop and deliver tailored commercial proposals that effectively demonstrate the ROI value proposition of EV charging infrastructure as a modern revenue stream and tenant retention tool.
  • Collaborate closely with technical engineering teams to facilitate initial site surveys, assess electrical grid capacities, and recommend optimized AC (Level 2) or DC Fast Charging solutions.
  • Lead complex negotiations from initial discovery through contract closure, establishing mutually beneficial terms for property access, profit-sharing models, and long-term hardware/software Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Cross-Functional Project Coordination & Account Management
  • Ensure the seamless handoff of signed accounts to the Field Service and Project Operations teams to initiate installation, permitting, and grid-interconnection processes.
  • Act as the primary long-term account manager for multi-site property owners, securing exclusive rights for phased network expansions.
  • Serve as the company's market intelligence liaison in the field, tracking competitor footprints, emerging technologies, and high-density EV adoption trends.
Ideal Qualifications & Skills (Suggested)
  • Proven track record in B2B enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships (experience in real estate, renewable energy, or EV technology is a major plus).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrable B2B enterprise sales experience is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizational structures and successfully pitch/negotiate with C-suite decision-makers.
  • Strong financial acumen to model and explain ROI, profit-sharing, and commercial viability to property owners.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, bridging the gap between sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and contract negotiation skills.
