HR Assistant (Employee Relations and Benefits Administration)

We are looking for an HR Assistant who will be responsible for Employee Relations and Benefits Administration. As An HR Assistant, the key responsibility is to perform essential administrative and logistical functions that keep HR processes running smoothly.
This includes managing employee records, benefits administration, compliance tracking, supporting HR policies and other tasks assigned by the immediate superior.
Employee Relations Overview:
- Receive Incident Reports (IRs), issue Notice to Explain (NTEs) and other necessary Memos, conduct administrative hearing if deemed necessary and Notice of Decisions (NODs) for offenses.
- Monitor and ensure sanctions are served by the employees.
- Maintains DOLE compliances and filing necessary report on the DOLE ERS (Establishment Report System).
- Prepare and issue Appointment Papers and Notice of Personnel Action for movements.
- Ensures proper safekeeping, documentations and confidentiality of related documents and materials in relation to labor relations.
- Updates 201 files and employee profiles in company’s record and systems on transfers and promotions.
- Discuss and assist on employee’s exit from the company.
Benefits Administration Overview:
- Assists in the facilitation of Company Initiated Benefits such as HMO, Travel Reimbursement, Leave etc. Likewise in Government Mandatory Benefits such as PhilHealth, SSS, and Pag-IBIG and organizes and coordinates with government offices for orientations and other related-seminars/activities.
- Organizes and coordinates with HMO provider regarding orientation and annual Executive Check-up (ECU).
- Proposes additional company-initiated benefits and endorse it to the HR Specialist/Manager.
- Facilitates and assists in organizing related programs and events related to benefits.
- Recommend policies related to company benefits.
Qualifications/Must-haves (Skills and Competencies):
- Preferably a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or Psychology, Management courses or related field.
- Must have at least 1 year experience in Employee Relations and Benefits Administration facets of HR.
- With at least B2 level in English Language Proficiency.
- Knowledgeable on Philippine Labor Law.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft tools and highly skilled in MS Excel.
- Must be willing to work on shifting schedule. (Mon-Fri shift or Tue-Sat shift - both have 5-working days in a week with different starting shifts)
- Must be willing to work onsite: Makati City.
- Preferably residing in the National Capital Region for easier access/travel to and from the office.
- Strong work ethics/values: Integrity, Initiative, and Reliability.
- Able to work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry and/or airline industry is an advantage.
