JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Manager (Retail and HORECA) leads and motivates a sales team to reach revenue goals by developing sales strategies, setting targets, training and coaching staff, managing sales pipelines, and reporting performance to upper management.Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and evaluating sales personnel; developing sales plans and budgets; collaborating with other departments; and analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with company goals; identify new market opportunities and customer segments.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor sales representatives; set clear performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations; ensure personnel are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated; ensure compliance with established standards, policies, rules, and regulations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners; resolve customer issues and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Performance Monitoring: Track sales metrics and KPIs; prepare regular reports for senior management on sales performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and finance teams to align efforts; provide feedback to improve products and services based on market insights.
- Compliance & Governance: Adhere to planned activities as well as government and other regulatory requirements.
- Miscellaneous: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the organization’s mission, vision, objectives, strategies, and core values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, or equivalent.Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in food industry catering HORECA accounts.
