Buyer (Hybrid) - Manila

About The Role:

The Buyer will purchase and manage tracking of materials to ensure on time delivery of quality manufactured parts, assemblies, and components. We are seeking an experienced buyer looking to utilize innovative and proactive procurement strategies to continuously improve the supply chain process at Terabase.

• Work to ensure material availability for production requirements.
• Communicate with suppliers regularly regarding purchase order requirements.
• Maintain a high level of data integrity to ensure accurate supply chain information.
• Actively work with materials manager to ensure appropriate levels are maintained.
• Cultivate and develop supplier partnerships. Participate in the supplier management process.
• Participate and administer formal supply agreements and/or supplier managed inventory programs.
• Negotiate the best quality and delivery at the most reasonable cost, consistent with accepted standards.
• Manage and keep records of supplier performance in the areas of Cost, Delivery and Quality to support KPI goals.
• Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities such as cost reductions, quality improvements, and supplier consolidations/reductions.
• Assist in the CR (Change Request) process.
• Participate in NPI/New Product Introductions and project teams.
• Provide a support role for teams.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management and Procurement.
• Strong functional knowledge of Microsoft Excel, inventory, and purchasing systems.
• Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems.
• Must demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
