Medical Receptionist

About the role

Beacon of Hope Chemotherapy Center San Fernando, a leading provider of cancer care in Caloocan City Metro Manila, is seeking an exceptional Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients throughout their visits.

• Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner upon arrival
• Efficiently managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting patients with questions, concerns, and providing information about the centre's services
• Coordinating and managing the flow of patients through the treatment process
• Providing administrative support to the medical team as needed
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked reception area
• Ensuring strict confidentiality of patient information and adhering to all medical administration protocols

• At least 2 years of experience in a medical reception or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Proficient in data entry, scheduling, and using medical office management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and their families
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
• Familiarity with medical terminology and understanding of healthcare administration
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting patients and their families during treatment
