Job Summary:
The Merchandising Manager is responsible for leading the merchandising team in developing and executing strategies that drive sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees buying and planning activities while leveraging market insights, customer trends, and business data to identify opportunities and improve overall performance.The ideal candidate is a collaborative and results-driven leader with strong business acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Textile/Fashion Design, or a related field. An MBA is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, with proven managerial experience in handling ladieswear category.
- Experience in overseas sourcing is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent stakeholder management abilities.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal, and team motivation skills.
- Proficient in merchandising, buying, planning, and forecasting.
- Willing to conduct field visits for store checks and trade area buying activities.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Pasig City.
