About the role
As a Procurement Supervisor you will play a crucial role in the company's operations within the retail and distribution industry. This full-time position is based in Mabolo Cebu City Cebu
What you'll be doing- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers, assess performance, and ensure compliance with agreements.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, review contract terms, and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Monitor procurement budgets, track spending, and seek cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure purchased items meet quality standards and resolve any supplier-related issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier innovations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, follow legal requirements, and support audits.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations
- Supervise a team of procurement associates
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing supervisor role, preferably from FMCG industry
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using procurement software and data analysis tools
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
