A Medical Scribe is expected to:
- Accompany the medical provider(s) throughout their patient encounters.
- Record the history of the present illness, review of systems, and physical exam findings accurately and completely.
- Input information into the electronic medical record (EMR) promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of patient's medical record.
- Refer laboratory results, imaging studies, and other data to the medical provider(s) for review.
- Assure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act/HIPAA).
Qualifications/Requirements
What it takes to be part of our team:
- Experience in medical scribe/transcription
- Preferably with experience in the psychiatric industry
- Medical course (psychology, nursing)
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility with work schedule and ability to work shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends.
- Amenable to work onsite in Ortigas site
