Job Summary:
The Senior Specialist for Legal Services is responsible for providing legal support to ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The role involves reviewing and drafting contracts, handling legal documentation, conducting research, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders on various legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents to protect company interests.
- Provide legal opinions and recommendations on regulatory and compliance matters.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings relevant to company operations and policies.
- Maintain corporate records, permits, and other compliance-related documentation.
- Coordinate with government agencies, external counsel, and internal departments on legal issues.
- Monitor ongoing cases, deadlines, and legal compliance requirements.
- Assist in the formulation and review of company policies to ensure legal soundness.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper management of all legal documents and correspondences.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree; passing the bar is an advantage but not required.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, labor, and regulatory laws.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and drafting skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
