ERP Integration Consultant
Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced ERP Integration Consultant to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrations across Workday, NetSuite ERP, and other business systems.
This role is responsible for ensuring seamless data flow between enterprise platforms, particularly across project, resource, finance, billing, and revenue-related processes. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to optimize system connectivity, improve automation, and support scalable integration solutions across the organization’s technology environment.
Key Responsibilities- The ERP Integration Consultant will design, build, and maintain integrations between Workday PSA, NetSuite ERP, and related business platforms to support financial consolidation, project data synchronization, resource management, billing, and revenue recognition processes. The role includes developing automated workflows to ensure time-tracking and billable expense data flows accurately between systems with minimal manual intervention.
- The position requires hands-on involvement in integration development, including data transformation, error handling, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. The consultant will use Workday Studio and related integration tools to manage complex data mappings, transformations, and system logic across different schemas and platforms.
- The role also involves developing and deploying custom NetSuite integrations using tools such as SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and other available integration capabilities. The consultant will configure connectors for common business platforms, support integrations with external systems such as CRM, eCommerce, or payment platforms where applicable, and ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
- In addition, the ERP Integration Consultant will ensure integrations properly support multi-currency, multi-entity, subsidiary, and global tax-related requirements across platforms. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting integration issues, preparing technical documentation, collaborating with developers and project teams, and providing guidance or knowledge transfer to business users and client stakeholders as needed.
- The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience working with Workday and NetSuite ERP implementation, customization, or integration projects. Strong hands-on experience with integration technologies and data exchange formats such as REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and XSLT is required.
- Candidates should have practical experience using NetSuite integration tools, particularly SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, and RESTlets. Experience with at least one ETL or iPaaS platform such as Dell Boomi, Celigo, Jitterbit, or a similar solution is also required.
- A solid understanding of Workday PSA, NetSuite ERP, and common business systems that integrate with these platforms is important. Working knowledge of web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is preferred. Experience supporting finance-related integrations, including billing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, multi-currency, multi-entity, or tax-related processes, is highly valuable.
- The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. NetSuite and Workday certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
