The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing production processes to ensure that manufacturing operations run efficiently, cost-effectively, and meet quality standards. This role involves optimizing production methods, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring equipment reliability, and maintaining safety compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements
Production Planning & Control
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and deadlines.
Monitor daily operations and ensure adherence to production targets and KPIs.
Process Improvement
Identify areas for efficiency improvement and implement lean manufacturing practices.
Optimize workflow, equipment layout, and production processes to minimize waste and costs.
Quality Assurance
Coordinate with the Quality Control team to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards.
Investigate and resolve production quality issues promptly.
Equipment & Maintenance
Ensure all machines and equipment are in good working condition through preventive maintenance.
Assist in troubleshooting technical problems and liaising with maintenance teams or suppliers.
Safety & Compliance
Enforce workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations.
Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with design, procurement, and quality teams to align production requirements.
Prepare and present production reports, performance data, and improvement plans to management.

Remarks
ducation: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or production setting (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of production processes, machinery, and equipment.
Proficient in CAD software and MS Office tools.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment & Conditions
Plant or factory-based, with regular exposure to production equipment and processes.
May require extended hours or shifting schedules depending on production demands.
