JOB SUMMARY
The Talent Development Officer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of training programs that are in line with Newport World Resorts' training requirements and talent development strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Assist and conduct training needs analysis, and identify the appropriate learning programs, interventions, or training solution options that will address the needs and/or gaps of Thrillmakers
- Assist and develop training content and in-house learning materials as identified from the training needs analysis
- Conduct training sessions, documentation, and post-training evaluations for assigned programs
- Assist and perform data analysis of post-training evaluation results to measure the effectiveness of the programs and develop recommendations for improvement
- Assist and revise programs as necessary in accordance with new policies, procedures, and/or business goals
- Develop microlearning articles to be published through our ThrillU Campus - Leadership site
- Conduct research on the current trends in talent development approaches
- Maintain data trackers efficiently, manage large amounts of training data and prepare regular training reports
- Assist and analyze data critically and apply critical thinking to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Exhibit traits of a good speaker and transfer knowledge to adult learners effectively
- Other ad-hoc tasks that may be assigned by the hiring manager
- Graduate of a Bachelor's degree major in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, Psychology, Hospitality, Tourism or other related fields of discipline
- Possesses excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient in Google Suite application, particularly at Google Sheet, Sites, & Google Analytics
- Must be proficient in other software and AI tolls like Canva, Chat GPT, Gemini, Grammarly, Perplexity AI, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
- Familiarity with the usage of LMS & ERP is an advantage
- Able to maintain data trackers and handle large volumes of training data
- Demonstrates strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Has excellent public speaking skills and possesses the ability to transfer knowledge to adult learners effectively
- Confident in speaking with different levels within the organization
