Job description

We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Operations General Manager to oversee and optimize the entire supply chain—from sourcing and inventory to production, logistics, and market delivery. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and timely execution in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in FMCG operations and is capable of leading teams and driving continuous improvement across all supply chain functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate contracts and monitor performance.
  • Implement cost-effective inventory strategies using data-driven methods aligned with demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop and adjust demand forecasts based on seasonal and market trends.
  • Coordinate logistics and distribution to ensure timely, efficient product delivery and manage distribution channels for quick turnaround.
  • Plan production cycles in line with sales forecasts and inventory levels; work with manufacturing to meet quality and output targets.
  • Identify and mitigate risks in supply and demand; develop contingency plans to prevent disruptions.
  • Lead continuous process improvements to increase supply chain efficiency and reduce costs; analyze performance metrics regularly.
  • Promote sustainability through responsible sourcing and waste reduction; ensure full compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Train, mentor, and manage team members while enforcing safety policies and reporting protocols.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, preferably in FMCG
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume operations in dynamic environments
  • CSCP or CPIM certification preferred
  • Expertise in demand forecasting, inventory control, and logistics
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
