The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role supervises accounting staff, reviews financial transactions, and supports management in decision-making through timely and reliable financial data.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage
At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with supervisory experience preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Supervise and manage the daily activities of the accounting team
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reportsMonitor general ledger accounts and review journal entries
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management
Maintain and improve internal control procedures
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff performance
