Job Summary:
The Project Manager will work directly with the WW Service NPI Program Manager to ensure that each assigned program is fully prepared for service readiness and overall success. This role is part of the global Service Enablement Engineering team and plays a key role in strengthening the impact of the service organization.The employee in this position will have opportunities to gain a deeper understanding of the product development lifecycle, collaborate with multiple departments across Xerox, and contribute to the success of the global service organization.

Working directly with the WW Service NPI Program Manager, the Service NPI Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Understand the key checkpoints, milestones, and gates within the product development process, along with the service organization’s role in each stage.
- Participate in and represent cross‑functional meetings, partnering with the program team to monitor program status and identify potential service impacts
- Monitor program tasks in the project management tool, work with task owners to keep them on schedule, and escalate issues as needed.
- Lead regular cross‑functional service meetings to share product updates, confirm service readiness, and drive actions on any issues impacting service delivery.
- Work with the Global Service NPI Program Manager to provide monthly updates to the broader service organization and service leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement within the Service NPI process.
- The position could grow to the point of leading smaller service NPI projects.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related project management field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience directly related to project management.
- Highly organized, with a demonstrated ability to track progress, drive actions, and communicate requirements and progress updates clearly.
- Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance timelines across competing priorities.
- Self‑motivated and able to complete assignments independently or seek guidance when necessary.
- Proficient in basic office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, SharePoint Lists, and Microsoft Project is preferred but not required. In the absence of experience with these tools, a demonstrated ability to learn and use similar project management tools is required.
- Experience developing or introducing a new product is preferred but not required
- Ability to work second shift to maximize the time to actively collaborate with global team and co-workers
