Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our Sales Team. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing the overall sales function. As the leader of the department, you will oversee the full sales cycle, set performance targets, and guide the team towards achieving organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the company’s sales and business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Sales Team, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in existing and untapped markets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to recommend strategies.
• Manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, and performance reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with Operations and other teams to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.
• Oversee budget planning, cost management, and resource allocation for the Sales Department.
• Represent the company in external events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience (5+ years) in sales leadership, business development, or account management.
• At least 8 years proven experience in the cold or chilled storage industry
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
