Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Reception & Reservations
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating.
  • Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments.
  • Customer Service
  • Present menus, explain specials, and take food and beverage orders.
  • Serve meals and drinks promptly and accurately.
  • Handle customer requests, complaints, or concerns with courtesy and escalate when necessary.
  • Coordination & Communication
  • Relay orders clearly to kitchen staff and ensure timely service.
  • Work closely with other servers, bussers, and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.
  • Update management on guest feedback and service issues.
  • Cashiering & Records
  • Process payments accurately (cash, credit, debit, or digital).
  • Issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
  • Balance cash drawer or POS transactions at the end of shift when assigned.
  • Workplace Maintenance
  • Keep reception and dining areas clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining overall cleanliness.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Professional, courteous, and customer-focused demeanor.
Working Conditions
  • Front-of-house environment with direct guest interaction.
  • Requires standing and walking for long periods.
