URGENT: DESIGN ENGINEER (FTTH)
About the role
FiberHome Phils., Inc.' is seeking a talented Design Engineer (FTTH) to join our team in Angeles City, Pampanga. This full-time position is responsible for designing and optimising Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) network infrastructure, ensuring efficient and cost-effective deployment of our advanced telecommunications solutions.
What you'll be doing- Design and develop FTTH network architectures and components to meet customer requirements
- Conduct feasibility assessments and technical analysis to optimise FTTH network planning and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FTTH solutions into existing network infrastructure
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, specifications, and reports to support project implementation
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation and maintenance teams
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our FTTH design and engineering processes
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in FTTH network design and engineering
- Proficient in network design, planning, and optimisation tools and software
- With experience in AutoCAD(2D/3D)
- With experience in surveying and designing OSP within the telecommunication industry
- With experience in handling RTA and BOM/BOQ creation
- Strong technical knowledge of FTTH technologies, protocols, and standards
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements
