Job Summary
We are looking for a QA Engineer with experience in manual and automation testing to ensure the quality and reliability of web-based applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria
- Validate APIs, backend services, and database integrations
- Support automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, releases)
- Ensure product quality aligns with business and user requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
- 2+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
- Experience in manual testing of web and API-based applications
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Cypress
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies (Python, APIs, databases)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and attention to detail
