Trailer Truck Driver

About the role

As a Trailer Truck Driver, you will operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.

1. Safely operating and manoeuvring large trailer trucks to transport goods
2. Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
3. Maintaining accurate logs of driving activities, deliveries, and any incidents
4. Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
5. Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods at pickup and delivery locations
6. Providing excellent customer service and communication with clients
7. Collaborating with the logistics team to optimise delivery schedules and routes

1. A valid professional driver's licence with a clean driving record
2. At least 2 years of experience driving large trailer trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles
3. Excellent knowledge of traffic regulations and safe driving practices
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle road and delivery challenges
5. Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy cargo
6. Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and the logistics team
7. A commitment to safety and a keen eye for detail
