The Website Channel Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations, seamless customer experiences, optimization, and execution of all e-commerce brand websites (across all devices) under Red Selvage. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product listings, executing online campaigns, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support digital marketing initiatives and help drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:Website Operations & Maintenance- Maintains the overall health and accuracy of the e-commerce websites of all brands under Red Selvage, including the following tasks:
- timely product uploads (including descriptions and images),
- price updates,
- banner placements,
- promotional mechanics and
- website performance optimization (for minor fixes ie loading speeds not including major coding requirements)
- website security checks to prevent breaches and ensure data protection
- Ensures all product and content updates are implemented on time and in alignment with campaign calendars and brand directions.
- Conducts weekly audits of all brand websites to ensure accuracy and functionality across all devices.
- Audits tagging and SEO optimization across all brand websites. Regularly review and refine product tags, meta descriptions, and structured data to enhance search visibility.
- Collaborates with the digital marketing team to improve metadata, URL structures, alt text, and keyword usage across the site.
- Organizes and manages product categorization, tagging, and sequencing to enhance customer navigation and product discoverability.
- Coordinates with the brand team to highlight seasonal and/or priority products and executes merchandising strategies based on campaign briefs.
- Supports the implementation of brand and marketing campaigns on the website, including promo setup, voucher activation, and content uploads.
- Ensures campaigns go live as scheduled and coordinates with relevant teams for proper QA before launch.
- Monitors key website performance indicators such as traffic, bounce rate, customer behavior, and helps in identifying growth opportunities.
- Provides regular reports and insights to support continuous improvement of the online shopping experience.
- Escalates any user experience or technical issues promptly to the appropriate teams.
- Works closely with Digital Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, and Fulfillment teams to ensure aligned and seamless e-commerce execution.
- Assists in inventory management by monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with operations to prevent stockouts or delays.
