EPS Staffing Service Group Inc. - Global General Tax Accountant

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in global tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage tax compliance processes globally, including VAT, GST, corporate tax, and withholding tax requirements.
• Prepare, review, and file tax returns and transfer pricing documentation in accordance with local and international tax regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of accurate financial reports in compliance with GAAP and IFRS, ensuring all tax aspects are correctly represented.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal finance, legal, and operations teams, as well as external tax advisors and auditors.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within tax and accounting functions.
• Stay current with global tax regulations and changes, ensuring continued compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred).
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in global tax compliance and general accounting.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing regulations, and international tax treaties.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and NetSuite, as well as strong MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Experience working in a multi-currency and multinational tax environment is a strong advantage.
