Accounting Team Leader

The supervisor also plays a key role in identifying process improvements and ensuring operational consistency across branches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations of assigned branches.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Review and reconcile accounts, including cash, receivables, and payables.
• Generate and analyze financial reports and assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance, training, and support to accounting staff.
• Coordinate with auditors, both internal and external, during reviews and audits.
• Travel to branches for on-site reviews and support when necessary.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field (CPA is an advantage but not required).
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in general accounting, preferably in a multi-branch environment.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; experience with SAP or other accounting systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to branches as needed.
