Quantity Surveyor
About the role
Wei Yuan Construction Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Angeles City, Pampanga. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing expert cost management and quantity surveying services to ensure the successful delivery of our construction projects.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and analyse detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documents
- Manage the procurement process, including negotiating subcontractor and supplier agreements
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to project managers and clients
- Prepare progress reports and financial statements for project stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate potential cost risks and opportunities
- Collaborate closely with the project team to optimise construction methods and materials
- Recognised professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Thorough understanding of construction contracts, tendering processes and cost management principles
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
