About the role
Yek Yeu Merchandising, Inc. is seeking an experienced Logistics professional to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient movement and storage of goods within our Tondo, Manila City warehouse.This is a crucial position that directly supports our company's supply chain operations and growth objectives.
What you'll be doing- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of customer orders
- Manage warehouse staff, including supervisors and associates, to optimise workflow and productivity
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise losses
- Analyse logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Liaise with transportation providers to schedule and oversee the delivery of goods
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to enhance supply chain efficiency
- 2+ years of experience in a logistics or warehousing management role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and transportation logistics
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of warehouse employees
- Knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
