Sales Engineer

Directly reporting to GM and Head of Sales, The Sales Engineer acts primarily as technical and sales advocate of various GlobalSign products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Serves as a product expert to the sales team and technical lead on major sales opportunities.
  2. Monitors and conducts minor service on servers.
  3. Works closely with Account Executives and/or Sales Specialists to align the technical requirements and the solution design with customers’ business drivers and need.
  4. Lead pre-sales activities including pilot support, and opportunity closure.
  5. Authors responses to RFIs and RFPs and technical architecture solutions.
  6. Performs custom product demonstrations outlining both the functional and technical values of the product.
  7. Supports customer integration/testing to GlobalSign Application Programming Interfaces (API).
  8. Establishes and maintains a deep understanding of GlobalSign offerings and the competitive landscape.
  9. Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations, tuned to suit the level and nature of the audience.
  10. Prepares Sales Engineering related reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales information and applications.
  11. Complies with local legal requirements, in coordination with Sales Team, by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; advising customer on product, service, or equipment adherence to requirements; advising customer on needed actions.
  12. Performs other related SE tasks/duties if needed and as directed by GM and/or Management.
  13. Performs other Non-SE related task after transition such as assisting CEO in drafting emails/announcements to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong business and technical acumen is a must. Quickly understand and interpret customer problems and navigate complex technical processes.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards.
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated and able to work without close supervision. Ability to learn and apply technical information and instructions.
  • Willingness to perform other/miscellaneous SE related tasks/jobs as assigned/required by Head of Sales.
  • Position is based in PH, however overseas travel is required and must be willing to do field work.
