Cashier/Student Accounts Staff

Job Summary:

Receives and records student payments, issues receipts, maintains accounts, monitors receivables, and processes discounts, refunds, and transactions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receive and record student payments for tuition and other fees, including those made through the bank, and issue official receipts.
2. Sort, count, and remit daily collections to the Collection and Resource Disbursement Officer; prepare daily and related collection reports.
3. Facilitate assessment, reassessment, and verification of student tuition and other fees, including add/change/drop transactions.
4. Monitor and reconcile student accounts and receivables; recommend necessary actions for collection and follow up on aging accounts.
5. Process employee tuition discounts, refunds, promissory notes, and other student-related financial transactions.
6. Release examination permits and clearances for graduating students in accordance with institutional policies.
7. Facilitate student applications for certifications, good moral character, transcript of records, and honorable dismissal.
8. Maintain accurate records and documentation (printed and electronic) for easy retrieval and reference.
9. Coordinate reconciliations, corrections, and adjustments during student billing and revenue recognition processes.
10. Perform other related duties as may be required.
