Accounting Associate

The Accounting Associate provides clerical and administrative support to the Accounting Department while ensuring that all financial records and documents are handled with the highest level of accuracy, organization, and confidentiality. The role assists in maintaining proper documentation, processing accounting-related transactions, and supporting the department's daily operational requirements.

The position will be hired and deployed under Generation Epicured Inc., the company that operates the McDonald's Maple Grove, San Francisco, and Sunterra branches in Cavite. Generation Epicured Inc. currently manages one of the largest McDonald's stores in Cavite, the Maple Grove branch.

• Track and record Accounts Payable Vouchers (APV) from Finance sections (Treasury, Fixed Assets, Rent).
• Maintain and update box series tracking for document storage.
• Encode, sort, scan, and file BIR Form 2307 (Certificates of Tax Withheld at Source) quarterly.
• Organize and file accounting documents.
• Coordinate with the storage warehouse for safekeeping of records.
• Ensure all documents are logged before delivery to the warehouse.
• Retrieve documents from the warehouse when needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of all accounting records and documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, practices, tax regulations, invoicing regulations
• Preferably 6 months to 1 year of Accounts Payable or General Accounting experience and relevant experience
• Knowledge in the use of ERP or any accounting system, QB exposure is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word, Power point and Outlook
• Fair fluency with Microsoft Excel formulas and function
• Time management skills as well as ability to multi-task efficiently
• Can communicate and engage clearly and professionally across various departments and external partners
• Exceptional attention to details and analytical skills
• Adaptability and learning ability to work in dynamic environment
