Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to oversee the execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of elevator and escalator projects. The successful candidate will serve as the key coordinator between clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate possesses strong project management capabilities, technical expertise in vertical transportation systems, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end implementation of elevator and escalator installation projects.
• Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies to meet client requirements.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved according to agreed timelines.
• Coordinate site activities with contractors, consultants, project owners, and internal departments.
• Ensure proper execution of installation works based on approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.

• Review technical drawings, layouts, and specifications prior to project execution.
• Coordinate engineering requirements and resolve technical issues encountered on-site.
• Provide technical recommendations and solutions to improve project efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with elevator and escalator codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring.
• Verify site readiness prior to equipment delivery and installation.
• Identify project risks and proactively implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation of site activities, inspections, and project records.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project execution concerns.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular progress updates.
• Manage client expectations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project handover and close-out activities.

• Ensure all installation activities comply with company quality standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct quality inspections and verify completion of punch-list items.
• Promote a strong safety culture among project teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and properly maintained.

• Monitor project costs and resource utilization.
• Coordinate material deliveries and equipment deployment.
• Support variation orders, project billing, and project cost monitoring.
• Assist in achieving project profitability targets.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• Minimum of 3–8 years of project engineering experience in elevator, escalator, construction, MEPF, or building systems projects.
• Experience managing installation and commissioning projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Microsoft Office, and project documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites and work in a field-based environment when required
