The Company Nurse is responsible for managing the daily operations of the company clinic, ensuring the health and wellness of employees by implementing effective health programs, providing medical care, managing medical supplies, and facilitating medical examinations.

The Company Nurse also plays a critical role in maintaining accurate medical records and coordinating with health service providers, such as HMO companies and external healthcare facilities.

Clinic Management
  • Oversee daily operations of the company clinic, including patient assessments, consultations, and follow-up care.
  • Assist the company physician during consultations and manage medical documentation, such as sickness notifications, referral letters, and medical certificates.
  • Dispense and monitor medicine inventories, ensuring timely replenishment and processing reimbursements.
  • Provide first aid and emergency care for workplace accidents or health emergencies, and arrange hospital transport if needed.
  • Implement health policies and procedures, such as lactation room management and compliance with health protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate health and wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
  • Coordinate health education initiatives, including wellness campaigns, safety trainings, and emergency preparedness (e.g., first aid trainings).
  • Oversee vaccination programs and health screenings, ensuring all employees have access to preventive care.
  • Coordinate pre-employment and post-employment medical examinations, ensuring timely completion and compliance with company requirements.
  • Manage annual physical examinations (APE) and executive check-ups (ECU) in collaboration with healthcare providers.
  • Administer the company’s Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) program, handling enrollments, renewals, deletions, and payments.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employees on HMO benefits, claims, and related concerns.
  • Coordinate with the HMO provider to ensure proper management of employee health benefits.
  • Monitor and manage clinic inventory, ensuring medicines and medical supplies are adequately stocked and not expired.
  • Prepare inventory-related reports for submission to the HRGA department.
CSR and Regulatory Compliance
  • Prepare and submit regulatory reports such as annual DOLE (Department of Labor and Employment) reports.
  • Generate monthly health reports to identify trends in workplace health issues.
  • Coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities related to health and wellness.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of medical records and compliance with health data privacy regulations.
Other Related Tasks
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HRGA team and ensure efficient operations.
  • Assist with special projects or initiatives related to human resources and general affairs as needed.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Nursing with valid PRC license
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in an occupational health setting, corporate clinic, or similar healthcare environment.
  • Certification from the Occupational Health Nurses Association of the Philippines (OHNAP) or equivalent occupational health training is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in handling Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) administration, including employee enrollments, claims, and renewals.
  • Proven experience in providing first aid and managing workplace accidents or medical emergencies.
  • Experience in organizing and implementing employee health and wellness programs, such as vaccination drives and health screenings.
  • Familiarity with preparing and submitting regulatory reports (e.g., DOLE) and ensuring compliance with workplace health standards.
