QA Test Manager

We are seeking an experienced QA Test Manager to lead quality assurance activities across multiple projects and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing testing activities, leading QA teams, defining testing strategies, driving process improvements, and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Interact and collaborate with different stakeholders across projects and business units.
• Perform risk analysis at the project management level.
• Maintain detailed documentation related to software and systems, ensuring adequate test coverage and completeness of test scenarios.
• Participate in the creation and review of User Stories.
• Lead, mentor, and develop QA team members to enhance testing capabilities and performance.
• Analyze testing result patterns and quality metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive the implementation of QA processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Train QA team members to become more skilled and efficient testers.
• Develop and manage testing schedules, ensuring deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
• Coordinate bug fixes and software enhancements with development and engineering teams.
• Participate in project estimation activities to support project planning and resource allocation.
• Participate in triage calls, QA meetings, and project discussions.
• Document testing standards, strategies, and quality assurance procedures.
• Analyze and report overall test status, testing progress, and results to stakeholders.
• Manage defect lifecycle activities, including defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution monitoring.
• Develop test plans and oversee test execution activities.
• Define and implement quality process improvements focused on defect prevention.
• Generate documentation for new applications and provide knowledge transfer and training to QA team members.
• Ensure testing activities align with business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Create detailed and well-structured test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Document testing findings, including test evidence, defects, change requests, and related artifacts.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts while managing testing and reporting tools.
• Analyze user stories and requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and execute test cases accordingly.
• Communicate testing concerns, risks, and quality issues effectively to stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Management, or QA Leadership roles.
• Experience leading and managing QA teams.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, testing processes, and quality assurance best practices.
• Experience in test planning, test execution, defect management, and quality reporting.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect management tools.
• Ability to read and understand business requirements, technical specifications, and user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to software quality.

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Experience in enterprise applications, digital transformation, or large-scale software development projects.
• Experience creating QA metrics, dashboards, and quality reports.
• Knowledge of defect prevention and continuous process improvement initiatives.
