As a Statusing Specialist is responsible for the procurement and process application as it supports Insight’s operations and order fulfillment. This will include working operational issues with suppliers, providing strong client service, and maintaining data accuracy within SAP. The statusing specialist will be empowered to review open orders, maintain ETA’s, and update tracking information. Along the way, you will get to:
- Be responsible for obtaining vendor estimated ship dates from vendor websites
- Be responsible for utilizing multiple mediums to connect with vendors to obtain vendor estimated ship dates and other information as necessary
- Review daily vendor reporting and apply the required information to the backlog
- Post supplier tracking and invoice information within SAP and close open orders by processing the goods receipt
- Respond to general sales requests including lead time, pricing, and general vendor inquiries within allotted service levels (SLAs)
- Meet daily goals for number of backlog lines completed
- Management of data integrity across area of responsibility and reporting system or data integrity issues

- Atleast 1 year experience in customer service, data entry or other related field
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with a focus on Excel. SAP Experience a plus.
- Ability to effectively interpret information in a variety of different means and achieve the same outcome. Strong client service skills and commitment to meet or exceed client requirements. Ability to understand and respond to client needs.
