Production & operations manager (manufacturing)

We’re looking for a Production and Operations Manager to oversee our production processes. This role involves managing production teams, optimizing workflows, building strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders, and ensuring everything runs cost-effectively and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and Manage Production: Create schedules, ensure production targets are met, and manage resources efficiently.
• Improve Operations: Find ways to make production more efficient and reduce waste. Implement lean practices when possible.
• Lead the Team: Manage and support production staff, helping them grow and meet goals.
• Ensure Quality: Make sure all products meet quality standards and compliance rules.
• Control Costs: Manage production budgets and find ways to reduce costs without compromising quality.
• Monitor and Report: Track production performance and report progress to management.
• Maintain Safety: Oversee safety practices and ensure a safe work environment for the team
• Customer Relationship Management: Work closely with customers to understand their needs, address any production concerns, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Foster Company Relationships: Build strong cross-departmental relationships to ensure alignment between production and other key areas like sales, logistics, and quality control.

Qualifications/Requirements

Experience: At least 5-7 years in production or operations management; with knowledge of manufacturing water-purifier charcoal, paddy dryer machine, furnance, biomass kiln machine.

Skills:

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Speaks Korean, English, Mandarin, Japanese and Tagalog
• Must have a pleasing personality with the ability to interact positively with customers, staff, and management.
