Project Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful execution of HVAC construction projects. The role involves assisting the Project Manager in overseeing on-site operations, coordinating with property management and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

1. Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and assisting the on-site HVAC construction activities.
2. Monitor project progress and ensure work execution aligns with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
3. Coordinate with site personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and property management to support smooth project operations.
4. Prepare and organize project materials, equipment, and documentation prior to construction activities.
5. Conduct site inspections and monitor HVAC installation works.
6. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to air-conditioning systems and equipment.
7. Maintain effective communication with clients, property management, and internal teams during and after project implementation.
8. Support project testing, commissioning, punch listing, and project acceptance activities.
9. Prepare project reports, progress updates, and documentation for management review.
10. Escalate critical issues and recommend solutions to ensure timely project completion.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in HVAC project execution, construction, or related engineering work.
3. Knowledgeable in VRF systems and/or water-cooled air-conditioning systems.
4. Strong understanding of HVAC installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance practices.
5. Familiarity with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation is an advantage.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with teams and clients.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic project documentation tools.
