MARKETING SPECIALIST - RETAIL SERVICES

Location: Mandaue City, Cebu

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for driving results by executing marketing initiatives and coordinating staff preparations for these activities, while also planning and overseeing marketing efforts to support the company’s overall growth.

Store Advertisement, Special Projects, and Displays
  • Coordinate the preparation, procurement, vendor production, delivery, and installation of in-store promotional materials (e.g., glass stickers, vendor ads, marketing display fixtures).
  • Create and maintain a distribution schedule for all promotional materials to ensure on-time delivery to all branches.
  • Collaborate with logistics and Operations teams to optimize distribution processes and address any arising issues.
  • Work with store managers to understand local market needs and customize marketing initiatives accordingly.
  • Communicate instructions and reminders to Operations regarding display materials, ensuring alignment with official planograms and display guides from Space Planning.
  • Coordinate sponsorship orders with relevant departments and manage their release to partners.
  • Assist with company-led major events.
  • Handle other tasks and assignments as needed, providing marketing support.
Retail and Special Events
  • Support the development and execution of traditional and in-store marketing campaigns and activations, providing key information and sample references.
  • Conduct market research, environmental scans, and competitor analysis with the Retail Marketing Manager to identify trends, competitor activities, and market preferences for both new and underperforming stores.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in analyzing market trends and competitor actions to uncover growth opportunities and potential threats.
  • Collaborate with digital and merchandising teams to ensure consistent branding and alignment with company objectives.
  • Consolidate, label, record, and monitor Marketing and Merchandising memos for distribution to stores.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating marketing events and promotions with vendors, regulatory bodies, and other partners.
  • Foster strong relationships with vendors, agencies, suppliers, and promotional partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience: Previous experience in retail marketing or similar roles, preferred but not required. Knowledge of retail industry trends and customer behavior
  • Skills and Abilities:
  • Excellent organizational skills, multitasking abilities, and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
