Infrastructure Specialist AWS Platform

Job Summary:

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, monitor, and maintain cloud environments, supporting mission-critical healthcare applications and services.

Your expertise in AWS and cloud operations will directly contribute to the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure, enhancing service delivery to both internal stakeholders and external clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and security.
• Implement and support cloud services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, and other AWS-native tools.
• Automate operational processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline integrations and secure deployments.
• Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and optimize cost usage across AWS environments.
• Conduct routine backups, disaster recovery planning, and environment patching.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry regulations and security standards (e.g., HIPAA, ISO, etc.).
• Document procedures, architectures, and operational standards for cloud services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience managing and maintaining AWS infrastructure in production environments.
• Proficient in AWS core services: EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, VPC, and related tools.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancing, and VPNs in cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning of cloud systems.
• Familiarity with IT security best practices in a cloud environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

• Experience in a healthcare or regulated industry environment.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Code Pipeline).
