IT Project Manager

About the role
We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Indra Philippines, Inc. In this contract role, you will play a crucial part in delivering complex IT projects that drive the company's growth and innovation. Based in Ortigas, Pasig City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful execution of IT initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives.
What you'll be doing- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Coordinate and oversee the work of cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and subject matter experts
- Identify and mitigate risks, and implement appropriate contingency plans to ensure project success
- Regularly communicate project status, milestones, and issues to key stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project team members
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and streamlining project delivery
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects in the Programme & Project Management industry
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and execute detailed project plans
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
- Solid understanding of IT systems, software development life cycles, and emerging technologies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Relevant certifications, such as PMP or PRINCE2, would be an advantage
