PCS Engineer

The PCS Engineer maintains and controls the reliability of Process Control System (PCS) and Technical Information System (TIS) which includes security and integrity of data.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates and audits existing PCS/TIS functionalities to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, prepare detailed plans and recommendations for new installations and maintenance, coordinate materials and services, and implement CAPEX projects for system upgrades and replacements.
- Supervises PCS and TIS maintenance activities to ensure quality workmanship and labor cost efficiency, address issues promptly, conduct spare parts reviews and post-maintenance evaluations, and assess third-party performance.
- Develops and revise PCS programs for new and existing equipment, perform backups, troubleshoot and repair PLCs, servers, and control networks, assist with Technical Information System maintenance, and ensure IT security for PCS and TIS.
- Documents and maintains records of any changes, modification, and improvement of PCS and TIS
Requirements:
- Must be a BS Electronics & Communication Engineering graduate.
- Must be a licensed Electronics & Communication Engineer
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience in maintenance field work in a manufacturing plant, with two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Must be knowledgeable in motor control wiring, control systems, electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting, network systems, PLC programming, and cable networking, with an understanding of the manufacturing process relevant to the industry.
