Position Description

This role proactively handles accounts involving thorough analysis and reconciliation, collaborating with cross-functional teams (from farm managers to corporate sales) to support the organization's financial objectives and sustainable growth.

• Team & Receivables Management: Manages and oversees the team processing collections, ensuring receivables from wholesale buyers and distributors are accurately recorded and charged to their respective accounts.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensures that all statutory reportorial requirements, including those specific to the agricultural sector, are complied with on-time.
• Agricultural Inventory Monitoring: Oversees the review and monitoring of farm inventory transactions operations, as well as inter-farm or inter-facility transfers. Assists in tracking biological assets.
• Process Optimization: Identifies areas for financial and operational improvement, providing actionable recommendations to reduce farm wastage and optimize cost-per-yield.
• Inventory Audits: Spearheads the completion of month-end and year-end physical inventory counts, coordinating closely with on-ground farm staff to account for supplies, produce, and equipment.
• Leadership & Internal Controls: Works with the Accounting Manager to ensure the team is highly competent in their functions. Implements company policies and sufficient controls to safeguard the company’s agricultural and physical assets.
• Site Visits: The position will require field work to visit farm sites, processing facilities, and warehouses to conduct audits and process reviews.

• Education & Licensure: Candidate must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and hold an active CPA license.
• Experience: At least 10 years of working experience in the related accounting field.
• Industry Expertise: Preferably has held a managerial position specializing in Cost Accounting or General Accounting within an Agribusiness, Farming, or Agricultural Processing set-up.
• Location: Applicant must be willing to work in Parañaque City (Corporate Office).
