Role Description and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Web Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and visualizing web data to drive actionable insights that impact business performance. You will work with key stakeholders to create and enhance dashboards using Google Analytics data and Looker Studio, helping to drive data-driven decision-making across merchandising, conversion, and user experience.

You will translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations that will help optimize our web platforms and enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain web dashboards and reports using Google Analytics and Looker Studio to provide actionable insights on web traffic, user behavior, and business performance.
  • Analyze data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support merchandising strategies, conversion, and UX improvements.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders based on data analysis, focusing on optimization opportunities across digital channels.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and UX teams to ensure data capture and reporting align with business goals and user needs.
  • Continuously improve data tracking and measurement strategies to capture critical metrics and KPIs across the web ecosystem.
  • Conduct regular analysis of e-commerce performance, user journeys, and content performance to uncover insights that inform business strategies and decisions.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of tracking systems, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
  • Present data findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner to support strategic decision-making.

Job Skills and Traits
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Proficient in analyzing web and e-commerce data and creating clear, actionable dashboards using tools like Google Analytics and Looker Studio.
  • E-commerce & UX Optimization: Experience in identifying opportunities to improve website performance, user experience, and drive revenue growth through data insights.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of web analytics tools, tracking technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript), and e-commerce platforms to gather and interpret data.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to approach data challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset and derive insights that influence business decisions.
  • KPI Tracking & Performance Metrics: Deep understanding of key web and e-commerce performance indicators to measure success and optimize strategies.
  • Adaptability & Learning: Proactive in learning new tools, techniques, and trends to continuously improve data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in web analytics, data analysis, or a related field, with a focus on e-commerce or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and other analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of web data, key performance indicators (KPIs), and metrics relevant to web traffic, user experience, and revenue generation.
  • Experience with data visualization best practices to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, or other web tracking technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into effective data-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and data-driven optimization.
