Plant Operations Manager

Success requires entrepreneurial drive, strong leadership, and attention to operational detail.

1. Production Management

• Oversee daily operations of the pelletizing plant to ensure output meets quantity, moisture content, and quality targets.
• Coordinate shift schedules, workforce deployment, and machine run-time to maximize plant uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical or process issues alongside the engineering and maintenance team.

1. Team Supervision

• Manage and mentor a team of 6–8 production and warehouse staff.
• Enforce safety protocols, performance standards, and training programs.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

1. Logistics & Inventory

• Coordinate inbound delivery of agri-waste feedstock and outbound shipments of finished pellets.
• Track daily stocks of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
• Ensure timely documentation of goods receipts, dispatches, and material movement.

1. Quality Assurance

• Implement and monitor QA processes, including sampling, batch records, and calibration logs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for rejected batches.
• Maintain compliance with DENR, DOLE, and BFP operational requirements.

1. Reporting & Systems

• Track key metrics such as production yield, downtime, energy usage, and labor productivity.
• Maintain updated records in daily production logs, inventory trackers, and reporting templates.
• Provide weekly reports to the Country GM on operational performance and risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agricultural, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in biomass, agri-processing, or similar industries.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity leading blue-collar teams.
• Proficient in operational metrics (OEE, throughput, downtime) and inventory systems.
• Familiarity with Philippine safety and environmental standards.
